Yesterday WordPress guys released final version of the WordPress 2.8.1, It has been more than twenty four hours since its out. Yesterday when I logged in my Dashboard I saw message “WordPress 2.8.1 is out, Please update now!” I used default automatic upgrading for upgrading because manual upgrading is quite risky and takes lot of time but automatic upgrade takes 2 to 5 minutes. There are not so many things new in WordPress 2.8.1 as compared to 2.8 “The Baker version”  WordPress guys just fixed bugs and tightened the security for plug in administration pages.

If you have yet not upgraded to WordPress 2.8.1 I will recommend you to upgrade as soon as you can cause new version is fast, better than previous versions, many bugs fixed and has tightened the security for plug in administration pages.
