Rooting an Android is a child’s play. It hardly takes five minutes to get an Android phone rooted. Today I’ll tell you how to root an Android phone, if you’re one of the Samsung Galaxy mobile or Tab user, you might like to check out – Video Tutorials to Help Rooting Samsung Galaxy Mobiles instead of checking this. But before I begin, let me make you clear that rooting VOIDS your warranty, though you can un-root it too, but warranty would be voided.
Notes:
- Rooting voids warranty
- It might make your mobile buggy
- The application which, I am going to use, requires Microsoft Dot Net 2.0 or higher.
- The rooting thing, which I’m sharing is tested on only Android 2.1 (Eclair) and Android 2.2 (Froyo)
- This root procedure doesn’t work on all phones.
HOW-TO Root:
- Download the latest version of SuperOneClick from here.
- Extract the RAR file and open ‘SuperOneClick.exe’ file.
- Switch off your mobile, connect it to computer via ORIGINAL USB, make sure USB DEBUGGING is turned on.
- Click on the ‘Root’ button

- Switch on your phone, when the application shows ‘ Wait for Device’.
- It will connect to phone.
- Once connected, the phone will get rooted automatically and the application will display a message that phone has been rooted.
- You may now unplug the USB and turn off USB debugging.
Congrats! You’ve rooted your Android. If need any help, drop it down.
