The purchase of iPhone has been significantly increasing since last three months (and even more than Android and Linux based mobiles), I have been noticing. Well, don’t know the reason behind it, maybe the launch of iPhone 3GS, or iPhone 4 or maybe the iOS 4.1, which has been out too! iPhone is one of perfect gadget with a geek would be happy being, but I am sure enough not being with its Data Plans and data transfer services. Am not I? I think yes! I am, specially in India, where the main service providers like Vodafone and Airtel loot a lot! Last time when we talked about iPhone here at Extreme Trix, Akshay bro shared the concept of iPhone 4, the Ultra and today I am going to type down about an iPhone app and would like it being shared with others – Powwownow!, using which you can conference with any one without being charged of the data plans. You will be charged just for a normal call that you make.
About

‘Powwownow’, I know the name is a bit weird, but what’s in a name? It is an easy-to-use Conference Calls service provider, which recently rolled out an iPhone application, where you would not even need to book a conference room or something to make it and what all makes it BIG and different is – free conference calling and the app is free for your iDevice too!

Features
Some of its features are:
- Free teleconferencing
- Automatic call alerts
- You can easily manage the details, which you would like to share with the fellow conference callers, and even miss callers!
Conclusion
I think it’s a good app, which only a few guys know about. Well, what more could you expect from a free application? Over-all I will give it 3.9 rating out of 5. If you liked it, then could download it from here.
Note: It is not a paid post, the application owner ‘Powwownow’ didn’t give us any candy to review. It is just a personal review, though I may get money from this post, but not for reviewing it.
